Ork Nob Bikers (conversions)

Another of the conversions that we have made for our Warhammer 40000 Ork Army are our Ork Bikers.

The nobz are from the Black Reach Assault box set, two of the bikes are "upgraded" old ork bikes and the other one is made entirely from scratch.

Painboy, Weirdboy and big mek (conversions)

I believe I have already said that we only bought pretty basic stuff to make our Warhammer 40000 Ork Army. We decided that we will make the more specific miniatures our selves, these are some examples of that.

How to make a Blood Bowl 7 folding pitch

This is another of my Blood Bowl pitches, I have more than enough already but with every new pitch I learn something new and improve the technique. In this one I used sticker paper instead of liquid White Glue and I have to say that is a lot easier to do it and the finish pitch looks better than any of the others that I've made before.

How to make shoulder pads for blood bowl players. Part I

Here is another small tutorial, this time about how to make shoulder pads with Green Stuff or other type of modelling putty.

There are a lot of ways to make shoulder pads a lot of possible shapes. This tutorial only shows 3 ways that are rather similar I added "Part I" to the title of the entry in case in the future I decided to make another one explaining other ways to make them and other shapes. In the tutorial I show the images first and below them their explanation, I hope is comprehensible.

Chaos Shoulder Pads

Chaos warriors usually have a strong armour with some big shoulder pads. We are going to begin putting some putty in the shoulder of a miniature (1). We shape the putty with our fingers giving it a rough shape of we want (2), as it seems a little to big we cut some of the putty with a hobby knife (3). Now using a sculpting tool we smooth the surface and give it a more defined shape (4). Then we press the flat and straight part of the sculpting tool near the head to make a small border (5).

How to make a 6 parts folding Blood Bowl pitch

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how I have made one of my Blood Bowl pitches, this is a double sided one with a normal field in one side and a Blood Bowl 7 field in the other side.

The board is divided in 6 pieces and once folded its size is around 26,4 cm x 23,1 cm x 1 cm.

Space Marines Terminator Squad and Terminator Assault Squad (conversions)

One of the few armies that my brother and I are painting with a few layers of paint for the highlights and the shadows are our Space Marines Army. We usually use or end up using a quick painting technique similar to the dipping method.

This entry is to show our two Terminator Squads, both of them are form the Black Reach Assault box set but we have converted one of them into a Terminator Assault Squad changing the weapons for a homemade Storm Shield and Thunder Hammer. We didn't really change the position of the arms and their position seems a little weird.

Tutorial: How to sculp a chaos warrior head

While I've been sculpting my Chaos Warrior for Blood Bowl I've been taking pictures of the step by step of certain thing that I considered interesting.
Today I bring to you a small tutorial of how I made the head for the Chaos Warrior.

Ork Meganobs from scratch

Our Warhammer 40000 Ork army has a lot of conversions as we decided only to buy a Orks battle force, two Black Reach Assault box sets and a Ork lottas & burna boyz box. We decided to make the things we needed by ourselves, like the looted wagon that I've already post in a previous entry.

Among all the conversions that we had made are these three ork Meganobs.

Whirlwind Multiple Missile Launcher from scratch

My Brother and I sometimes made things with plasticard instead of cardboard, this is the case of the multiple Missile Launcher for our Space Marine Whirlwind.

We have bought some second hand plastic Warhammer 40.000 vehicles, they are usually in a bad shape and we try to restore them to a better one. One of the vehicles that we had bought was a Rhino. As we don't usually use rhinos in our battles we decided to build a missile launcher and in that way instead of a Rhino have a Whirlwind.
