Some re-painted Dwarfs from my brother's Army

Hello again!

I've already show some Warhammer Fantasy Dwarfs painted by my brother but they weren't from his own army they were dwarfs from a friends army that is in our hands for an undetermined period.

In this post you can see dwarfs from his own army. He insist that they are two separated armies even if the color scheme of both of them is the same.

Homemade Dwarf Bolt Thrower (scratch building)

In this post I want to show you the bolt throwers that my brother made for his Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf Army.

He made them using balsa wood, putty and some plastic bits. He didn't need them any more us he has bought some old wood like bolt throwers that he likes better, so he told me to offer them in my Spanish blog. Now they are no longer in our possession, they belong to someone that was interested in them.

Dwarf Thane with Army Battle Standard (conversion) + Dwarf Warriors and Dwarf Thunderers (conversions)

A friend of us have lend us for an indefinite amount of time his Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf Army inviting us to painted if we were up to it. The army is composed mostly of 6th edition miniatures plastic and metal.

My brother that truly loves dwarfs have decided to update a little bit our friends army and paint it. He is using the same scheme color of his army but he insists that they are two completely separate armies but truth be tall I think he is planning in using some of the units with his own dwarf army when we play very large games.

Custom made Warplock Jezzails (conversions + little explanation on How to do them)

First of all I want to wish you a Happy New Year.

Now about the Warplock Jezzails, they are something that my brother and I did a really longtime ago, that's one of the reasons that in most of the pictures appears "Sir B" instead of Sir Skofis.

Dwarf Miners

My brother is spending a lot of time merging his Dwarfs Armies. His initial idea was to have two dwarf clans sharing the battlefield against a common foe, but at the end he really don't like the idea of having half of his army with some colors and the other half with others so he is stripping the paint from at least one half and painting them again using the other scheme of colors. He also has time to paint some orks of our common army so I'm pretty please as I can latter use a painted army that in the battlefield tends to look way better.

The last unit that he has strip and paint is his unit of Dwarf Miners. In the picture below you can see how this unit looked like before the stripping and painting process.

What we made with one of the tied up dwarfs slayers of The Battle for the Skull Pass Boxed Game

I made this entry to show you how we converted the tied up Dwarf Slayer from The Battle for the Skull Pass Boxed Game. We have a couple of them and weren't using them for anything and the face in not bad so we make a new body for him and converted into one of the Dwarf Slayers of my brother's Dwarf Blood Bowl Team.

Firstly we cut the head from the original body. Then we made a body using the metal Dwarf Slayers of WFB as models (in the pictures of the top center and top left side you can partially see one of those slayers as the model is place on top of it).

Dwarf Mine

This is one of the first scenery pieces that my brother and I made. We made a few before this one, a couple of orc huts and some polystyrene hills.
As you can see this piece represents the entry to a Dwarf mine understanding dwarf mine like and underground fortress.

How to convert 6th edition Dwarf Warriors into Ironbreakers (tutorial)

This is a tutorial that I made some time ago for a Spanish electronic magazine, now I bring it to you translated as well as I can and hoping that I had used the right words.

With this tutorial we are going to obtain a Warhammer Dwarf unit that looks like this:

Dwarf Runelord with Anvil of Doom (Sculpted/Convesion)

Another one of the conversions of my brother's Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf Army is his Runelord with Anvil of Doom. This conversion is an old one, we made it in January of 2008, and we spent a lot of time making it, nonetheless we are still surprised by our own result.

Dwarf Lord and Shieldbearers version 2.1

Almost every Lord and Hero of my brother Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf Army is a conversion of some sort. In this post I would like to show you my brother's Dwarf Lord on shield with two Shieldbearers and how they have evolve with time.
