Mephisto from the "BB foro" and also the "Talk Fantasy Football" forum asked me to do this tutorial.
this tutorial is similar to the one where I explained how to convert a skin into BB player but to make a human player. In particular I'm going to explain how I make the linemen for my Human Blood Bowl team, I think is quite easy to imagine how I make the other positionals.
Introduction
For the conversion I'm going to use Kneadite Green Stuff mixed with A+B white modelling putty. When you mix these two putty together you obtain a pale greenish putty.
To work with the putty in this tutorial I use sculpting tools, a hobby knife and my fingers. I kept lightly wet all of those tools so the putty stick to the model instead of the tools.

Dogs of War Pikemen (conversions)
Pikes are the infantry weapon of choice in Tilea. Twice as long
as a normal spear and longer than a cavalryman’s lance, the
front of a unit of pikes is an impenetrable wall of steel.
as a normal spear and longer than a cavalryman’s lance, the

Initially, we though of making our Dogs of War army using miniatures that we didn't need in our other armies and like that we put together our first pikemen unit. In the unit we put every extra miniature from the rest of our warhammer fantasy armies, changing their weapons to pikes make by enlarging spears using the shafts of other spears or of some of the standard bearers arms. The result was a rather ugly unit but it was the first unit of our army even if now we have dismantled it.
We have use or reserve the miniatures of the unit once we have dismantled it. For example we are thinking of making a Blood Bowl team with the dark elfs.
We also used a dwarf that cannot be seen in the unit as it is a dwarf and is in the 4th row to make one of the dwarf blood bowl team runners. This particular 5th edition dwarf had loosed his head and arms and there were replaced with 6th edition dwarf bits a pretty hideous conversion. To make the runner we unglue the head and arms and make new ones with some putty.

Dogs of War Duellist
Small units of lightly armed skirmishers are normally employed
to protect the flanks of pike-armed units
In this entry I want to show you another two of our Warhammer Fantasy Dogs of War units. In the picture above you can see half of each unit as we painted first one half of each and then the other, it turns out that wasn't a great idea =)
To make the Duellist we used the Empire Free Company box set. We made 8 swordsmen (matasietes) duellist and 8 pirate duellist. We armed a few of the pirates ones with pistols in case we wanted to use them equipped like that but in general they are equipped with two hand weapons. Given the options of the Empire Free Company box we didn't have to make any conversion as the miniatures where just what we needed for this units.

Blood Bowl Human Team
My brother and I made this team using mainly plastic humans from the Empire Free Company box of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. There are also other bits from other Empire plastic miniatures, like the Empire Knights or the 6th edition Empire State Troops, and obviously an ogre.
