Hello!
There have been some issues in the last couple of weeks with some of the pictures that were hostted in photobucket. Some time ago I decided to migrate all my images from photobucket to the google server but I didn't catch all of them and a few of them remained in the photobucket server that no longer allow 3rd party image hosting. Hopefully all the images are back.
Also there were some issues with some of the links and also I hope all work now.
If you see anything please inform me, maybe I'm not updating the blog with new posts but I will like to have the information that is already in it in the best shape possible.
Thank you

Overlay for Blood Bowl pitch
After a couple of e-mails and a comment in this post (what I like to call popular demand =P) asking for the overlay of the blood bowl pitch, just the crosses and white lines I decided to create a new post with them, as there could be more people interested in them and I'm not always around.
In the next folder you will find the complete overlay with the white lines contourned and not, and also files containing only the crosses for the squares and the whitelines separatedly. The files are in two formats layered pdfs (so you can change things independently if you have a program like photoshop) and png images with transparent background so it is easier to paste them on top of something else.
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/7mm6co3vc4jfq/overlay
I always ready to help so if you need anything just tell me in a comment or through my e-mail lord-skofis(a)hotmail(dot)com

Ogre Hunter with Sabretusks
This is one of the models that my brother decided not to paint again when he repainted most of our Warhammer Fantasy Ogre Kingdoms Army. At the end he has also painted it and there are only a handful of units left to have all our Ogre Kingdoms miniatures completely painted.

How to make a Mega Armored Ork Warboss (scratch building tutorial)
Hi everyone, some time ago a follower of the blog asked us for a tutorial building a Mega Armored Warboss. We do not usually field this miniature but do to the awesome look orks have when they are wearing mega armor, my brother take upon him to make one of this beauties making a tutorial out of it in the process. The result of the conversion process can be seen below.
Materials used/required:
- Ork and other races bits.
- Sprues.
- 1 mm thickness Plasticard/ old cards: credit cards, hotel cards, library cards or IDs. The use of old cards makes the process economic.
- Hyssop (ear cleaning rods)/ empty ink pen tubes/ cylindrical tubes of different diameters.
- 2 mm diameter rods, we use brass rods, but wood or plasticard rods could also be used.
- 1 mm diameter rods (I use paper clips).
- Putty. I used green stuff and A+B white from Sylmasta, but any putty that you know how to use is ok.

Skaven Warp Lightning Cannon (scratch building)
Another nice scratch building make by my twin brother is this awesome Skaven Warp Lightning Cannon.
To make it he used a second hand Imperial Great Cannon and he also used the plastic part from the inside of a surprise egg.
My brother has made several skaven symbols in the plastic egg with a hot pin. He also has built a platform using pieces of plastic sprues and plasticard, then covering it with some putty to simulate wood planks.

Mega Armored Ork Warboss (scratch building)
In a similar way of the Meganobs my brother has made a Warboss with Mega Armour.
Most of the model is plasticard, pieces of plastic sprues and putty. My brother has also made an step by step that I will try to translate into English some day in the future.

Necrons Canoptek Spyders
My brother wanted to design and build his own Canoptek Spyders for his Warhammer 40000 Necron army, but he never did finish his designs as he kept an eye at eBay searching for a bargain and finally he got it. He bought two old metal Canoptek Spyders in a reasonable state and after stripping the layers and layers of paint that they had and a few small minor repairs the were ready to be repainted.

Modified Warbuggy (conversion using an old model)
We acquired an old warbuggy in eBay a long time ago and it was in my brother's and mine to do list to modify it so it looked more current with the actual orks, instead of having a tiny driver and crewman.
The model that we bought in an almost good state and it had the body for the driver of the wartruck instead of the original one. Nonetheless it had some pieces missing like half of the engine that my brother has replaced with a plasticard box. My brother has also added a shooting box for the crewman and more armour plates to protect a little better the bigger driver. In the pictures below you can more or less see all the things that he added.

Chaos Dwarf Earthshaker Cannon (Conversion)
In this post I want to show you another thing from our chaos dwarf army, its Earthshaker Cannon.
It is based in the dwarf cannon from the Battle for the Skull Pass game box set. The conversion is pretty simple, we just added some putty to it to loose its dwarf look and enlarge the mouth of the cannon. To someone that has the chance of having the original 5th edition version it would look like a little small but it is what it is.

Vendetta Gunship for my Imperial Guard Army (cardboard made)
This is another amazing cardboard scratch build made by my twin brother, it would look even better once painted but I haven't manage to do it yet...
To make this model he didn't use any blueprint, he just made the pieces using my Valkyrie Assault Carrier.
