Folding Blood Bowl 7 pitch protected in both sides

One of the last pitch I have made was a Blood Bowl 7 pitch and I decided to go a little further protection wise in this one as opposite to the others that you can see in the Blood Bowl section of the blog.

To make it I used:
  • 2 mm thickness grey cardboard
  • Black Geltex
  • A3 size sheets of paper
  • Strong glue stick
  • Autoadhesive transparent wrap
The process is quite similar to the ones that I have already written: cutting the cardboard pieces, glue them to the Geltex, glue the sheets of paper where I print the pitch. The difference comes now that on top of the printed pitch I place a new layer of autoadhesive wrap.

I use my pitch design so you may have see it in other pitches.

Penal Legion Troopers conversions

I have two Penal Legion Squads in my Warhammer 40000 Imperial Guard army. Both of them are made using the Catachan Guards plastic miniatures for the penal legionnaires and one Cadian imperial guard as the custodian. I decided to paint their "uniforms" orange as if they where took in a hurry from a prison and there wasn't any time or money to give them more than a lasgun.

In the unit description it is said that:
New legionnaires have their heads shaved and tattooed with their insignia. Explosive collars are clamped around their necks. The collars are a disciplinary device, primarily designed to discourage a prisoner from attempting to escape. The blast from one is directed inwards...
That gave me an idea, "shaving" the head of all the miniatures wasn't the one, it was to make some collars with green stuff. Nothing fancy, just a flatten putty sausage and a small square part to make the explosive part. Even if it isn't to obivius it gives them a little more aspect of penal legionnaires.

How to make Warhammer Movement trays with cardboard

My brother and I have try to make movement trays with different materials for some time now, improving our method until we have end up with the version that I would tell you how to do in this post.

A movement tray is a tray that allows you to move your miniatures as a unit instead of moving them one by one. In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to do the movement tray that you can see in the picture below.
